Rounds tracks pub rounds for friend groups. Rounds is operated by MOJE LTD, the data controller for everything described below. We hold the minimum we need to run the app, we don't sell it, and you can ask for it back or wiped at any time.

01 — WHAT WE COLLECT

What we collect

To run Rounds we hold the basics — your email, your display name, the groups you're in and the rounds those groups have logged. Nothing more than the app needs to function.

  • Account: email address (via Clerk) and the display name you choose.
  • Group activity: rounds you log, sessions you join, turns and settle-ups.
  • Diagnostics: anonymous crash reports and product analytics so we can fix what breaks and see what's used.
  • Push tokens: if you opt in to “your turn” reminders.
02 — HOW WE USE IT

How we use it

Your data runs the app — keeping your groups in sync, working out whose turn it is, building your year-in-review. We use anonymous analytics to understand which features land and crash reports to fix bugs. We don't profile you, sell your data, or hand it to advertisers.

03 — THIRD PARTIES

Who else sees it

Rounds runs on a handful of services. Each one only sees the slice it needs:

  • Clerk — sign-in and account email.
  • Neon (Postgres) — our database, where your groups and rounds live.
  • Railway — hosts our API.
  • PostHog — anonymous product analytics. No names, no emails.
  • Sentry — crash reports, stripped of personal data before they reach us.
  • Apple Push Notifications — only the device token if you turn reminders on.
  • Donation provider (if you tap “Buy the dev a pint”) — Rounds hands you off to a third-party payment provider whose own privacy policy then applies. We don't see card details.
04 — YOUR RIGHTS

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of everything we hold on you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Delete your account from the app and your personal data is wiped within 30 days. Group records may be retained anonymously so the rest of your group's history doesn't break.

You also have the right to data portability, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you think we haven't handled your data properly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

To exercise any of these rights, drop us a line — details below.
