Terms of Service
The plain-English rules for using Rounds. Rounds is provided by MOJE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales. Use the app like a decent human and you'll never need to read this twice.
Acceptance
By creating a Rounds account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app — it's that simple. You must be at least 18 (or the legal drinking age where you live) to use Rounds.
Use of the app
Rounds is provided for personal, non-commercial use. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the app on your own devices. You can stop using it whenever you like; we can stop providing it whenever we like — though we'll give reasonable notice if we plan to shut it down.
Account behaviour
You're responsible for what happens on your account. Keep your login details to yourself, use a name your friends can recognise, and don't be a dick about it. Specifically, don't:
- Impersonate other people or sign up under a name that isn't yours.
- Use Rounds to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone in your group.
- Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app or its backend.
- Use Rounds for anything illegal, or anything the App Store rules don't allow.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules — usually after a warning, sometimes without one if the harm is serious.
Limitations
Rounds is provided “as is”. We try hard to keep it working and to keep your data safe, but we can't promise the app will always be available, perfectly accurate, or free of bugs. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Rounds — including, but not limited to, disagreements about who actually owes a pint.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under UK consumer law that can't be waived.
Donations
Rounds includes an optional “Buy the dev a pint” button that opens an external third-party payment provider. Any donation you make is voluntary, non-refundable, and processed entirely by that provider under their own terms — we never see card details and we don't treat donations as a purchase of features or subscription. Donating doesn't unlock anything in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a meaningful change, we'll bump the version at the top of this page and tell you inside the app before it takes effect. If you don't like the new terms, you can close your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that can't be resolved over a pint will be settled in the courts of England and Wales.
